Ready to get started?
Every order is custom. Pricing depends on quantity, garment type, print size, colors, and design complexity. We work hard to keep our pricing competitive while delivering the quality you expect.
To ensure the highest print quality and fastest turnaround times, please review our artwork requirements and production policies below.
Artwork & Production guidelines
Accepted File Types
All artwork should be submitted in vector, print-ready format whenever possible.
Preferred File Formats
Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
Vector EPS (.EPS)
Editable PDF (.PDF)
SVG (.SVG)
Corel Draw/CDR
We strongly recommend submitting .AI or .EPS files, as vector artwork can be resized without losing image quality.
We can also work with editable PDF files, provided they have not been flattened or rasterized.
Files That May Require Additional Artwork Charges
The following file types are considered raster images and may require conversion:
.JPG / .JPEG
.PNG
.PSD
.TIF / .TIFF
Some high-resolution raster files may convert easily with little or no additional artwork charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Artwork Conversion Fees
If your artwork is not print-ready, artwork conversion or cleanup charges may apply at a rate of $50/hour.
Please note: Simply placing a JPEG or PNG into Illustrator and saving it as an .AI, .EPS, or .PDF does not convert it into vector artwork.
Art Proofs
Digital proofs are provided to confirm:
Artwork placement
Spelling and layout
Print size
Ink colors
General design accuracy
Please note:
Proofs are not intended to represent exact on-screen colors
Final printed colors may vary slightly due to ink, garment material, and printing processes
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all proofs before production begins.
Copyright & Trademark Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to reproduce submitted artwork, logos, trademarks, or copyrighted materials.
NextBrett Screen Printing reserves the right to refuse any artwork that may violate copyright or trademark laws.
Any legal liability arising from unauthorized artwork remains the responsibility of the customer.
Fonts & Text Requirements
All fonts must be converted to outlines before submission.
In Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw/CDR:
Select your text and choose:
Type → Create Outlines
Outlining fonts prevents font compatibility issues and ensures your artwork appears correctly when opened on our systems.
If fonts are not outlined and font files are not provided, additional artwork charges may apply.
NextBrett Screen Printing is not responsible for purchasing or sourcing fonts required to complete customer artwork.
Embroidery Guidelines
Certain artwork adjustments may be necessary to meet embroidery production standards.
These adjustments may include:
Font resizing
Line weight modifications
Simplifying fine details
Adjusting spacing or stitch areas
Whenever possible, NextBrett Screen Printing will communicate these changes prior to production.
Please note that embroidery has physical limitations, and some artwork may require modification to achieve the best possible final result.
Printed & Sewn-In Tag Requirements
Federal regulations require the following information on printed or sewn-in garment tags:
Garment size
Fabric content
Country of origin
Care instructions
These requirements are mandatory and cannot be omitted or replaced with alternative wording such as “Printed in the USA” or “Processed in the USA.”
Customers are responsible for providing accurate garment information when requesting custom labels or tags.
Out-of-Stock Items
Garment availability cannot be guaranteed until an order has been officially placed with our suppliers.
In some cases, items quoted may become unavailable before production begins.
If an item becomes out of stock:
We will notify you promptly
Comparable replacement options will be provided
Approval will be required before production continues
NextBrett Screen Printing is not responsible for supplier inventory shortages or discontinued products.
Pantone & Color Matching
Pantone color matching is available upon request for an additional fee.
Because colors may appear differently across screens, devices, garments, inks, and printing methods, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend providing:
Pantone color codes whenever possible
Physical samples if exact matching is critical
By approving a digital proof, the customer acknowledges and accepts the possibility of slight color variations.
Original Artwork & Design Ownership
All original artwork and designs created by NextBrett Screen Printing remain the property of the company unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Design fees cover the labor and creative process used to produce the artwork and do not automatically transfer ownership rights.
Ownership rights or source files may be purchased separately upon request.
Artwork fees, revisions, and additional design services are billed at rates determined by the scope of the project.
Customer-Provided Artwork
Any artwork submitted by a customer remains the property of its rightful owner. We will not reproduce copyrighted material without proper authorization.
